The Dotty Spog Studio is a creative hub situated in the heart of the Natal Midlands. We offer services ranging from film production to graphic design & illustration. The company was co-founded by Angie Kessel and Ryan baker who are both creative powerhouses in their own right.
Ryan Baker
Ryan is a highly ambitious documentary film producer & director, who studied and worked in Dubai before coming home to start The Dotty Spog Studio. He believes in giving our clients the opportunity to engage meaningfully with their audience through authentic & compelling, narrative driven short films. Content is the currency of the new 'attention economy' and the data is clear, short form video content is the gold standard of drawing attention in the new media space. Our film services range from high impact, short form social media content to evocative feature length documentary films.

Angie Kessel
Angie is a highly dedicated fine artist, sculptor, graphic designer, illustrator, costume designer, mother of two and a constant creator. From her home through to her designs, Angie is always found fussing over the finer details. She truly believes that when you create your environment it's that very environment that creates you back. Having had the opportunity to work with the late Desmond Tutu for the 'Tutu Desk Challenge' through The Lapdesk Company, MTN Africa, The Midlands Meander and Howzattt Cricket to name a few, Angie pours her heart and soul into every brief she receives.
